Can You Guess the Poet!?
I have randomly selected four poems from books I have laying about the house. Try and guess who wrote what (I won't post the names of the poets since that'll make it easier) without the use of Google and you'll get a prize! (Well, admiration) I'll, at least, provide titles. That should make it easier.

yay!

Poem the First:

I stepped from plank to plank
So slow and cautiously;
The stars about my head I felt,
About my feet the sea.

I knew not but the next
Would be final inch,-
This gave me that precarious gait
Some call experience.

Poem the Second:

'Unfortunate Coincidence'

By the time you swear you're his,
Shivering and sighing,
And he vows his passion is
Infinite, undying--
Lady, make a note of this:
One of you is lying.

Poem the Third:

'Labrador'

How clean these shallows
how firm these rocks stand
about which was
the waters of the world

It is ice to this body
that unclothes its pallors
to thoughts
of an immeasurable sea,

unmarred, that as it lifts
encloses this
straining mind, these
limbs in a single gesture.

Poem the Fourth:

'Evening Star'

'T was noontide of summer,
And midtime of night,
And stars, in their orbits,
Shone pale, though the light
Of the brighter, cold moon,
'Mid planets her slaves,
Herself in the Heavens,
Her beam on the waves.

I glazed awhile
On her cold smile;
Too cold---too cold for me---
There passed, as a shroud,
A fleecy cloud,
and I turned away to thee,
Proud Evening Star,
In thy glory afar
And dearer thy beam shall be;
For joy to my heart
Is the proud part
Thou bearest in Heaven at night,
And more I admire
Thy distant fire,
Than that colder, lowly light.

Maybe I'll provide the names of the poets....

Edit: The names of the poets are: Poe, William Carlos Williams, Dorothy Parker, and Emily Dickinson but not in that order.
